THE PURPOSE
For the benefit of all beings, everywhere.
NP MOVEMENT was created out of a desire to marry the science of human anatomy and biomechanics, with the transformative power of Yoga. Here to spread the joy of movement, and the peace found in stillness. Group and private classes, along with special workshops and events are offered throughout the year.
We are located in Terrace, BC, sharing space with Cedar River Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre. Nestled in the heart of Northwest British Columbia and surrounded by mountains, rivers, and old-growth forests - it's the perfect place to call hOMe.
When you're not outside playing, we invite you to come in and reconnect.
THE PRACTICE
Simplify. Simplify. Simplify.
NP MOVEMENT prides itself on quality instruction of alignment-based yoga that is safe, accessible, and effective for all. Through this practice, we are committed to the health and happiness of individuals, communities, and this planet.
We strive for a healthy balance between consistency and variety. Classes are taught primarily in hatha/vinyasa style with strong influences from the Iyengar tradition and modern principles of physiotherapy and movement science. Given the richness of yoga and benefits from different lineages, other styles may be offered as well.
